IMPORTANT NEWS: Trevor's Mom, Sharon Munson, has been told she needs a bone marrow transplant. If you are interested in seeing if your bone marrow is compatible, please visit www.marrow.org and purchase a test kit to see if you would be a match. This is very important, people. Your kindness and generosity are amazing. If you need financial assistance to purchase the kit, please contact Leeser at leeser@moonlightline.com and she will discuss this with you.
Where were you born? Where were you raised? Siblings? I was born in Pennsylvania... lived in Hopewell NJ until i was 10 when my family moved to Austin, Texas. Stayed in Texas through grad school until moving to LA the first time in 1998... I have one sister. Her name is Tara. And she is older than me. Not really, but I like to pretend she is.
Single, involved, married, divorced, vow of celibacy?
(sorry, couldn't help it) I have never been married, but have had one very long live-in girlfriend. I did once take a vow of celibacy and it lasted nearly fifteen minutes...
What book(s) are you reading right now? Is there a
particular type of reading you prefer? Right now I am reading the last Harry Potter, and I just started a beautiful novel called Shantaram which I already love...I'll read anything, but I'm partial to noir, Chandler, horror esp. vampire lit, children's books, and crime novels...
I have been writing since first grade when I stole lined paper from my classroom to complete my first epic novel 'Martians Battle Martians'. Look for it in theaters next summer. At the time I had this huge story I wanted to tell, and I was very frustrated because my vocabulary, grammar and word skills weren't up to the task. That was when I decided to learn to write.
I have adapted a book for New Line, written a TV movie for Fox, but the only other thing I have made besides Moonlight is a movie from an original script I wrote called 'Lone Star State of Mind'. It stars Josh Jackson, James King, DJ Qualls, and John Mellencamp. It was intended to be a sort of noir, Coen-Brothery dark comedy, but was turned in to a teen movie by the studio for some unfathomable reason. At present I have a spec, and a children's book called 'Fletcher Freek and the Voodoo Guru' waiting in the wings.
